Paul Blandford’s path into audio sprang from his desire to bridge left-field styles of electronic music with dance floor-friendly genres. Adopting the moniker Dan Fur in 2016 he has produced, performed and released his own music on his unique collection of analog, hybrid, digital and modular synthesizers.
Paul has been working with Dubreq Stylophone for over 5 years helping create tutorials and lessons for their synths, and joined the Precursor Productions team in 2019, since becoming an accomplished mix engineer, mastering engineer, dialog editor, foley artist, sound effects editor, ADR mixer and re-recording mixer. Paul also instructs Precursor audio production classes as well as provides custom tutorials and tips to Youtube and his social media, where he has amassed over 10 thousand followers cumulatively and over 250 thousand cumulative views.
Paul participated in the Patch & Release modular meetup at Prairie Wires Modular 2021, and will return to Brandon to perform his unique modular take on Jungle Drum & Bass music at Mod on the Quad on Friday afternoon.
