What’s the buzz about Modular Synths? Modular enthusiast, basement producer, and BU Bachelor of Science grad Michal Gnitecki takes a scientific approach to synthesis inspired by his work in the environmental industry. Over the past 20 years Michal has become aware of, and has been working to remediate anthropological impacts across the Canadian Prairies. Employing the environmental concepts of sampling, analysis, and remediation, into his electronic music Gniteki will perform “honey session”, an eco-conscious experimental patch inspired by (and including) the bees of southwest Manitoba. Turn your ears to the wind and listen for the buzzzzzzz.
